Join the Rutgers Club of New York City for an evening with Dr. Oscar Schofield, Chair of the Department of Marine and Coastal Sciences, as he discusses how the RU ocean observing network is enabling human safety, environmental management, and the growing Blue economy. 

  • How will a changing ocean affect the tri-state? The nation? The world?
  • New technologies are changing how we go to sea.  How will they lead to a growing-sustainable new Blue Economy?
  • How are Rutgers undergraduates setting an example as ocean explorers and scientists?
